Financial Accountant

Salary: up to £70,000, dependent on experience

Thank you for your interest in the Channel Islands Financial Ombudsman (CIFO). Our role is to resolve complaints about financial services provided in or from the Channel Islands. We are looking for a finance professional to be responsible for CIFO’s financial management and reporting, lead our annual billing and collection process and oversee our outsourced IT arrangements.

We would like to hear from highly-organised and analytical individuals, with demonstrable experience of delivering projects and tasks to deadline who would relish the opportunity to be the sole finance role in our small, yet interesting organisation performing a public interest mandate. We will then shortlist selected applicants to take a 45-minute test, which is planned for Thursday 31 January. The test would be emailed to each candidate at a pre-set time for completion and return by email 45 minutes later. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Candidates will then be shortlisted for interview, planned for 12/13 February.
